| Registration on the Course |
| |
| Candidates must complete the Application Form and return it to the SCM together with the following: |

Two passport size photographs
|

•
|
Certified photocopies of qualifications (Also copies can be sent by fax) |
|
•

Evidence of work experience (where applicable) |
|
•
|
The registration Fee of £50.00 and an initial deposit of £1000.00 (Total £1,050) |
|

Letter of Acknowledgement
|
|

| On receipt of the Admission Form & related documentation, SCM will send the applicant letter acknowledging receipt and confirming the course for which application has been made, the course fee, the date of commencement and details of the maintenance funds required for the duration of the studies. The letter will also state that in order to pursue the application further, the applicants will need to remit the appropriate tuition fee for the courses. Overseas applicants may use this letter to process foreign exchange through their commercial Banks. |

| Certificate of Enrolment |
| |
| On receipt of the tuition fee, minimum £1000.00 the School will issue a Certificate of Enrolment, stating that a place has been reserved on the course. Payment may be made either by a Banker's Draft or by Bank Transfer directly into the school account. Details are given in the Letter of Acknowledgement. Overseas students may use the Certificate of Enrolment to obtain a student visa. |

| Visa Application |
| |
| Once a place has been reserved, students requiring entry clearance must visit the British Embassy/High Commission in person. The following documents must accompany the application: |

The Certificate of Enrolment issued by the School.

•
|
Passport. |
|
•
|
Documents, e.g. recent bank statements as evidence that you have funds available for the duration of your course. If you are sponsored, you will need a letter from your sponsor, confirming that he/she will meet the cost of the course. |

Copies of educational qualifications. |

| Terms and Conditions of Admission |
| |
| The minimum age for registration at the SCM is 17 years. |
| |
| Stratford College OF Management undertakes to take all reasonable steps to provide educational services in the manner set out in this publication. It does not, however, guarantee the provision of such services. |
| |
| Should circumstances beyond the control of the college interfere with its ability to provide educational services, including, but not limited to, government actions, war, riots, civil commotion, fire flood, epidemic, labour disputes (including labour disputes involving the workforce of any third party) and act of God, the College undertakes to use all reasonable steps to minimise the resultant disruption to those services. However, the College shall not be liable to the other for any failure or delay in performing its obligations, if such failure or delay is due to any cause beyond the College's reasonable control. |

| The information (including fees) in this publication is accurate at the time of going to press, but amendments may be made from time to time without any notice, both in relation to individual courses and the facilities or services available from, or provided by, the College. |
| |
| A minimum enrolment total is required for the opening of any class. The College reserves the right to withdraw or change a class, course or programme, if there is significant reduction in attendance. |

| Letter of Admission |
| |
| If admission is granted, a Letter of Admission, housing application, and other materials will be forwarded by airmail or express mail. The appropriate visa eligibility certificate will be released by SCM after receipt of a fee deposit of £1000. |

| Fees and Payment |
| |
| Overseas students are required to make a full payment for the first year or at least 50% if the course fee exceeds £3000.00. Each course is priced different and the students have to refer to the price list to see the course fee. |

| Payment of Tuition fees |
| |
| Payment of at least 50% of the balance is due when the student arrives into the UK and the remaining 50% is due within the next 30 days In exceptional circumstances, the second payment can be made in two Instalments, the first in advance and the second by the end of the first term. There will be a small administration charge for this service. |

| Tuition fees are payable in GBP sterling by: |
| |

International bank draft made payable to Stratford College of Management to be drawn in UK banks.
|
|
•
|
Bank to bank transfer. |
|
•
|
Cash (which may be transferred by Western Union or equivalent Transfer organisation) |
|
•
|
Personal cheque |
|
| |
| There are no additional fees payable to SCM. However, students are expected to buy their own books and materials where handouts are not available. |

| Refunds and Cancellation Policy |
| |
|

|
If a student has to withdraw because he/she has been refused a visa to enter the UK, then a refund of all tuition fees paid will be made, less £250 administration charges.
|
|
•
|
The refund will be processed once the student sends through the Refusal of Entry Clearance Certificate. The refund will not be paid to a third party except where payment was made by third party. |
|
•
|
Refunds will not normally be made after the course has started unless the student has been refused a visa. |
|
•
|
Where a cancellation is received after the commencement of a course, there will be no refund at all. |
|
•
|
Transfer of fees to another student or other educational institutions will not be allowed in any circumstances. |
|
•
|
No refunds will be made if the SCM facilities are used to obtain travel permits/visas. |
|
•
|
No refunds will be made once your course has started or if you were refused a visa on the basis of poor attendance or misconduct |
|
•
|
Where a student has obtained a student visa using our college documentation and then decides not to follow his/her course at this college once they have arrived in the UK., there will be no refund whatsoever. |
|
•
|
A full refund will be given, (£250 will be deducted for administration charges) in case College cancel or does not start any course due to minimum number of students or for any other reason. |
|
•
|
Refund process is 4 weeks after the receipt of written refund request. |
|
•
|
Refunds can be claimed within 6 months from the date of enrolment. |
